Elephant Legs allow the popular 230mm stroke airjacks to rapidly jack the racecar up by over 400mm acting as safety props/stands to allow mechanics to safely work under the car and in significantly less time than using a trolley jack or axle stands.
STAGE ONE - The airjacks are deployed and the lbase stands are clamped onto the extended airjack legs, the airjack system is released, lowering the car onto the stands. The car is now safely sitting at over 200mm.
STAGE TWO - The gates on the larger stands are shut and the airjack is deployed again. The airjacks will now be sitting on top of the larger stands and the smaller set of stands are now clamped onto the extended airjack legs. The car now sits over 400mm and is safe to work on.
The legs are CNC machined from aerospace 6061-T6 aluminium and designed to unbolt to a flat form-factor for easier storage.
