The precision of a camshafts is critical for optimizing the performance and efficiency of a performance engine. By fitting cams with larger duration you will be increasing the amount of air being drawn into the engine thereby allowing more fuel to be injected meaning more power and torque at the same time of extending the rev range at the top end, making the car far more responsive. Typically a simply cam upgrade can produce an increase of between 10-50bhp when optimised.
