OEM airboxes are restrictive and designed for use on the road and to comply with noise regulations, the exact opposite of what a track car needs. Ensuring a race engine is fed with huge amounts of cold air is as important as fitting race cams or remapping the ECU. Fitting an airbox will feed your engine with alot more cold dense air making the most of other modifications and provide more power / torque with a crisper throttle response.
Our airboxes are faithful replicas of the BMW Motorsport DTM airboxes. They are made from the same extremely high quality grade carbon fibre and to the exact same dimensions and design. They have been independently tested and proved to increase horsepower and torque by as much as 25bhp.
They come with integral 170mm trumpets and all the fixing hardware and are available in various throttle body sizes, please choose when ordering.
A matching CF Intake snorkel kit and high flow filter is also available as an option.
